Soveel as wat ek saamstem met die toekenning van KykNet en Rapport se pryse vir die beste boekresensente van 2021 aan Jean Meiring, Charl-Pierre Naudé en Izak de Vries, dink ek dis tyd vir ’n radikale move.

Meiring en Naudé het omtrent nou al missionreg op dié pryse. Meiring het dit al vier keer gewen, en Naudé drie maal. En hoe oud is die pryse? Vyf jare?

Kom ons beskou dit as ’n sterk moontlikheid dat hulle dit aanstaande jaar weer gaan wen. Eternal grooviness, sou mens kon sê.

Stel Meiring, Naudé en De Vries aan as jutse vir aanstaande jaar se pryse. Laat Bibi Slippers, Mercy Kannemeyer en Ryan Pedro toe om weer die boekbesprekings te laat reën.
